Primer sets designed for RT-PCR of specific canine transcripts have been designed and optimized for robust, unambiguous RT-PCR analysis. Each primer set is designed to amplify a multi-exon region, which allows for distinction of genomic contamination products from the RTPCR product. Primers are tested and validated to produce a single, transcript-specific amplicon, with the predicted sequence, under the recommended cycling conditions.

Included in your sample will be:

  • 100 ul of each primer @ 10 ng/ul (enough for 250 reactions)
  • Primer sequences and recommended cycling conditions
  • mRNA sequence showing exon structure and primer positions
  • Gel image of RTPCR product from a positive tissue

See list of RT-PCR primers currently available.

How to Acquire Product

For extramural colleagues access to all reagents and SOPs requires execution of a Fred Hutch UBMTA and a nominal fee that covers production and mailing. Please fill out the MTA and email it to mharkey@fredhutch.org. If you need something not listed here, contact us. We may have it.
