Freezer-Milled Canine Tissue Samples

One class of products from CCEH Cell and Molecular Reagents in support of the Canis lupis familiaris model includes frozen, milled tissue.

Each tissue is snap-frozen in Liquid Nitrogen (LN), milled to a fine powder under LN in a freezer mill, and stored at -80oC. The milled tissue can be dissolved and extracted quickly for preparation of RNA, DNA, protein, enzyme activities and other molecular preparations.

Included in your sample is:

  • About 1 gram of frozen tissue powder on dry ice.
  • Description of tissue source, including age, sex, health of donor

  • Liver
  • Bone marrow
  • Spleen
  • Blood
  • Heart
  • Testis
  • Kidney
  • Uterus
  • Lung
