High-Throughput Sequencing

We offer full-service NextGen sequencing, from library prep to assistance with data analysis for the Illumina HiSeq 2000and Roche/454 GS Juniorplatforms.

Single lane reservations are available for some HiSeq runs. Also, please stay tuned for word on a HiSeq 2500 upgrade coming later this year.  Benefits include a flow cell comprised of few lanes (i.e., fast turn-around times) and the ability to generate longer read-lengths.

For assistance with NextGen Sequencing (NGS) services, please contact:

NextGen sequencing consultation: Jeff Delrow, jdelrow@fhcrc.org

Illumina HiSeq 2000:Andy Marty, jamarty@fhcrc.org

Roche/454 GS Junior: Alyssa Dawson, adawson@fhcrc.org

Targeted Pyrosequencing

Genomics offers services using the Qiagen PyroMarkQ24 and Q96 MD systems to support several assays, including targeted genotyping and CpG methylation.  Please contact Crissa Bennett (ckbennet@fhcrc.org) or Cassie Sather (csather@fhcrc.org) for more information.

ABI Sequencing

We will soon be officially launching our new online ordering and data delivery system as part of a major upgrade to our HutchBASE LIMS.  The upgrade will also include some simple tools for visualizing your sequencing results.  Look for an email announcement in the next few weeks.

Our ‘full-service’ ABI sequencing option has become very popular with our end-users and it is priced competitively compared to our ‘ready-to-go’ service.  To learn more, please contact Elizabeth Jensen (ejensen@fhcrc.org) or call the Genetic Analysis Lab at x4470.
