Thursday 06/02/2011

We are implementing a new BigDye cleanup protocol that will improve data quality and (in some cases) sequencing read lengths.  Accordingly, we are implementing tube/plate requirements for sample submission.

Tube Requirements: Samples need to be submitted in strip tubes with strip caps and labeled numerically.  An example is Fisherbrand 0.2ml PCR Tube Strips (cat#14230210).  Individual tubes or strip tubes with individual lids will not be accepted.

Plate Requirements: 96-well plates must be loaded A-H with no spaces.  Only half-skirted and non-skirted 96-well plates with v-bottoms will be accepted.
