The Texas A&M University Medical Sciences Library and the Oklahoma State University Libraries partnered to digitize the Index-Catalogue of Medical and Veterinary Zoology (ICVMZ).

This historic compendium of the parasitological literature, published by the U.S. Government Printing Office, continues to be a key resource to researchers for parasitology, re-emerging diseases, neglected tropical disease, zoonoses, global animal health, and one health / one medicine. Albert Hassall and Charles Stiles at the Zoological Division of the Bureau of Animal Industry began compiling this index 1892. The ICMVZ has citations ranging in time from beginning of recorded parasitology literature to the end of the index in 1982. The result is more than 100 publications comprising more than 20,000 pages and including more than thirty languages.

With funding from the National Library of Medicine, the libraries digitized all of the government issued volumes of the ICMVZ and provide them open access via the Texas A&M Digital Repository and Digital Collections at Oklahoma State University Library. TIFF page images have been reformatted as PDF/A files in order to provide a single file for each volume of the index.
