Dietary Recalls
Using dietary recalls, participant information can be recorded by interview process (24-hr recalls). Trained staff from the Nutrition Assessment staff conduct recalls over the telephone and data are entered directly into a computer using the University of Minnesota Nutrition Data System for Research (NDSR) software. Food Frequency Questionnaires (FFQ)
The Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) is the most common dietary assessment tool used in large epidemiologic studies of diet and health. Nutrition Assessment periodically updates its standard FFQ to reflect U.S. food consumption pattterns and major changes in the market place. See more
Multiple-day Food Records
A multiple-day food record or food diary is a detailed description of all foods and beverages consumed over a period of three to seven days. Nutrition Assessment has both documented and undocumented booklets. See more
Specific Food Questionnaires
Questionnaires specific for soy, fat, snack, mindful eating or caffeine consumption are available. See more
