Two of the Shared Resources received funds from the Bezos family funds to support research activities of the Immunotherapy Integrated Research Center (IIRC) and all Hutch investigators. Experimental Histopathology purchased the sophisticated Vectra quantitative pathology imaging system which can detect weak and overlapping immunohistochemistry signals.

Flow cytometry acquired the state-of-the-art LSR Fortessa X50 flow cytometer even before it was widely available and was able to work with Becton Dickinson to develop reagents and protocols.

For more information about the activities of the IIRC, see the recent article from the Fred Hutch web site.
