The Genomics Shared Resources has launched a new platform that creates single-cell templates for Next-Gen sequencing. The C1 platform isolates single-cells within individual reaction chambers in the Fluidigm integrated fluidic circuit (IFC). These isolated cells are then imaged within the sealed IFC for viability, lysed and a cDNA template is created for sequencing analysis. This workflow allows the parallel processing of up to 96 single cells per run and is ideal for comparing expression profiles between individual cells within a population.

Please contact the Genomics Shared Resources at genomics@fredhutch.org for more information on the C1 Single-Cell Auto Prep System.
